Millward Brown released it's most recent ranking on the world's strongest brands. Their study reports that "Strong brands are capable of extending into areas of opportunity to access
new revenue streams and to help businesses respond to market changes." In essence, the best brands are what we call renaissance brands... they can extend their value beyond a single narrowly defined category.
